It's hard to write
of your exciting life in the big city
when you spend your days on Craigslist
a blessing and a curse.
Writing and rewriting
resume after resume
cover letter after cover letter
for jobs you don't even want
Eventually, something gives
I'm currently freelancing,
balancing 3 part time jobs
Waiting to hear back from another
and about to apply to the one I really want
with a great reference
